 Springs are classified into two categories, one is so called as power springs made by steel strips and another is coil springs or wire springs made by steel wires. We are specialized in manufacturing power springs made by steel strips. Main material of our power springs are SK-4/5 high carbon steel strips and AISI-301EH stainless steel strips. We get these material from material supplier and then, we cut them into necessary width, make round edge and make hardening and tempering for spring use. After these processing, we make them into power springs or some other type of springs. Besides such high carbon steel strips and AISI-301EH stainless steel strips, some other materials are also available like AISI-301H, 304, 430, etc.. |
 Features & Function: This type of spring is most popular in the market. The torque generated is cumulative, and increases the force as the spring is wound tighter and decrease as it unwinds as shown in the below chart. There are two main factors to increase torque, one is thickness and other is width. In general, thickness affects on torque much more than width which should be considered for products design. One of inevitable features of this type of spring is that some difference of torque will be caused when it is wound and when it is re-wound.
