![]() Features & function: This spring can be produced by adding curly stress continuously along with longer side of steel strips and wound coil is stuck tightly each other in natural condition. The springs offer high and constant force in the units and are so called as "Constant force spring" or "Constant torque spring". Pulling-out of constant load, winding of constant load and rotation of constant torque are available from this constant force spring. Main applications: Carbon brush holders for generators/D.C. motors, Transfer devices for data cards/punch cards, Devices to adjust the height of electric fan and Balancer hung on the ceiling. |

A) In case of using
springs in original form: When pull out outer end of spring or pull- out inner end, spring torque is constant regardless of length of stroke. ![]() |

B) In case of using springs as
motor In general, springs are wound on two arbors left hand side and right hand side with S shape. If right hand side springs are wound in reverse, they will be re-wound toward left hand side arbor and then, bring about clock-wise rotation on right hand side arbor. From start to finish, torque is constant and large amount of rotaton is available. ![]() |
