Breaching Whale in Northern Sea

--King of the earth--

He appears in the sea of Alaska every summer. He is Humpback Whale. After showing his full body without taking care for human's eye, he dives in the deep sea. I confirmed that this earth exits for him and not for us.

The instant time when he climb up to the top and return was drawn by the Indian-ink.

This painting was accepted by the 9th Sougo Suibokuga Exhibition (Nov.6-10,2004 in Tokyo)

"What is "Humpback Whale" ? Humpback Whale (Zatou Kujira in Japanese) is about 13 ｍ in length and 35 tons in weight. They stay in seas near Alaska and the north pole in summer and come to Hawai and Mexican gulf sea in winter. Why they show breaching is not known well.
