The Lijiang River --Shadows on the clear waters--

The Lijiang River winds along thousands of peaks.

The peaks appear as if they were jade hairpins.

Shadows of the hairpins cast on the clear waters.
Fishermen use birds(cormorants) to catch fish.

You can enjoy these scenes on the ship tour.

There are full of scenes for black & white painting.

Elephant-Trunk Hill --Elephant Hill--

This hill was named as "Elephant-trunk Hill" because it looks like an elephant drinking water.

"Where is "Guilin"?" You can go there by two hours flight from Shanghai. Between Guilin and Yangshuo, Lijiang River traverses 83 kilometers like a jade ribbon winding among thousands of the hills. Along the river, the landscapes are so especially spectcular that the rocks and caves are fantastic, the deep pools, springs and waterfalls are wonderfull. The reflections of the hills in clear and greenish water are like bright and beautiful pictures. Ship tours start at Zhujiang.
