My RG400Gamma
Introduction
I was long yearn for RG-Gamma since 1985.(I was a junior-high school student.)
In 1986, I got a riding licence. Ofcourse, I want to ride the Gamma, but, it was too expensive for 16' boy.
So, I got a little 2stroke machine, MBX-125F.
Time goes by, I got driving licence and got a small car, and got a job...
But I searching something....Yes. It's MOTORCYCLE!
After that, I bought a RZ250 from friend.
And.. In 1994, I got a RG400Gamma at last! My dream came true.
The Gamma painted "Walter Wolf racing" color. It's Suzuki genuine color. Maybe Japanese only? I heard, In Canada, Walter Wolf color 's Gamma s were sold.

ENGINE
My Gamma couldn't got good condition for while. It's engine couldn't rotated until 10,000 rpm.
I guess due to piled carbon for exhaust pipes. So, I changed exhaust pipes.There were made by S.R.S sugaya(most famous Gamma's specialist in Japan.)
But, could not improvement.
Eventually, I found stick S.A.E.C. valves.
After overhaul, could over 12,000rpm.
Sep. 1995. "500" word is bluff in this time.
Now, I attached RG500Gamma's cylinders. power chart is here.
Suspentions
Gamma has good suspentions. Even in middle '80s. But, '90s fashion is fat radial structure tire.
It's not only fashion, but also improvement performance.
I like riding on winding road. So, I attached 17 X 3.5 inches rim for front, and, 17 X 5.5 one for rear.
It's GSX-R750 & 1100 's parts.
And, Attached Ohlins full adjustable suspention.
Brakes
Gamma has 4pod caliper and double disks brakes on front.
It's seems high specification.
However It's not so good work.
So, I modified these.
FRONT BRAKES& AROUND TOP BRIDGE
Front:GSX-R750('89)'s Fork assy(43mm dia. Not Upside down type but It have cartridge .),rim, Brakes (310mm Rotors)
Caripers:Brenbo(HONDA RS250R's. Same as Ducati 900SS's)
Brake lines : EARL's
Master cylinder:Yamaha TZR250('91)'s 14mm.
Rear:GSX-R1100('92)'s rim,cariper. torque rod:GSX-R400('89?)
'97 version. RG-Gamma ( Oct'97. Okutama-Lake side.)
'98 version.
